ID: INVADED

Kura is a specialized investigative organization dedicated to solving crimes through the Mizuhanome system, an advanced technology capable of detecting the psychological drive to kill. At the forefront of this initiative is Sakaido, a brilliant detective who serves as the primary pilot of the system. To unravel complex cases, he must immerse himself directly into the id well—a surreal landscape constructed from the unconscious mind of the perpetrator. By navigating these fragmented and deeply personal mental worlds, Sakaido searches for critical clues that conventional investigation methods cannot uncover. However, the deeper he ventures into the minds of violent offenders, the more dangerous his mission becomes. A string of brutal and baffling murders casts a long shadow over his work, all seemingly connected by a single, elusive figure known as John Walker. Operating as a Serial Killer Creator, this mysterious entity lurks within the subconscious realms, orchestrating violence from the darkness. As Sakaido relentlessly pursues the truth behind these manufactured killers, he faces a harrowing journey where the boundaries between reality and the human psyche blur, leaving one pressing question: where will his relentless pursuit ultimately lead?
