The Big Tree in Front of the House

What was meant to be an entirely ordinary day quickly unravels into something deeply unusual in *The Big Tree in Front of the House*. The story unfolds from the perspective of a young observer whose routine is abruptly shattered when a large, unexpected crowd gathers directly outside their grandmother’s home. This sudden influx of strangers transforms a familiar, quiet setting into a scene of mystery and unease. The protagonist is left grappling with pressing questions: where did all these people come from, and where are they ultimately headed? Driven by curiosity and a quiet sense of apprehension, the protagonist attempts to make sense of the unfolding situation by peering out from behind the safety of a window. However, the very landmark that defines the property—a massive tree standing tall in front of the house—becomes a frustrating obstacle. Its sprawling branches and thick foliage obstruct the view, hiding the crowd's movements and intentions just out of sight. Trapped between the desire to understand the commotion and the physical barrier blocking their vision, the protagonist must navigate this tense, mysterious moment, turning a simple act of looking outside into a compelling exploration of hidden secrets and unseen destinations.
