A DOG

In a kingdom where the monarch’s favor dictates life and death, a single catastrophic mistake seals a man’s fate. After taking the life of the king’s beloved pet dog, he faces the ultimate consequence for his transgression. The royal court shows no mercy, and the man is swiftly sentenced to execution for the crime, paying with his life for the loss of the ruler's cherished companion. However, death does not offer him an escape from his actions. Instead of finding peace in the afterlife, the executed man is thrust back into the mortal realm through a startling reincarnation. He awakens to find himself reborn in the very form of the creature he once destroyed, transformed into a canine. Yet, this physical change is not absolute; while his body is now that of a dog, his mind remains entirely human. Trapped within his new animal existence, he retains every vivid memory of his past life as a man. This profound awareness creates a harrowing internal conflict, forcing him to navigate a world that once belonged to him as a human, now experienced from the perspective of a beast. Bound by the lingering recollections of his former identity and the fatal choices that led to his demise, he must confront the reality of his transformed existence.
