The Boulanger's Lover

Asao Munenori once harbored dreams of becoming a professional pâtissier, but he ultimately set that ambition aside to return home and take over his parents' bakery. This startling incident brings the two closer together, and they soon develop a genuine friendship built on mutual affection. Despite their growing bond, neither immediately acts on their feelings. After spending a few days apart, the somewhat oblivious Fujikawa ends up confessing his love with complete sincerity, entirely unaware of the weight of his own words until after they leave his mouth. Their honest exchange blossoms into a romantic relationship, transforming both of their lives. Now lovers, Asao finds himself reflecting on the path that led him here. He realizes that the difficult choice to abandon his original dream was not a loss at all.
