Jae-Won once believed that romance was something he could simply leave behind. After enduring a deeply painful experience in a past relationship, he made the firm decision to distance himself from dating altogether. For him, emotional detachment became a necessary shield, a way to protect himself from the heartbreak and disappointment that love had previously brought into his life. He settled into a quiet routine, convinced that keeping others at arm's length was the safest path forward. However, his carefully constructed walls begin to crack when he unexpectedly crosses paths with someone from his past. The person who disrupts his solitary existence is none other than his childhood friend, someone whose presence carries the weight of shared memories and unspoken history. This reunion forces Jae-Won to confront the very emotions he has spent so long trying to suppress. As their connection deepens, Jae-Won finds himself caught between the lingering scars of his previous heartbreak and the undeniable pull of someone who has known him since they were young. What begins as a familiar encounter slowly evolves into something far more complicated, challenging everything he thought he knew about trust, vulnerability, and the possibility of opening his heart once again.
