To Mend a Heart

Jang Han-Eul leads a quiet life working on his family’s rural chicken farm. After graduation, most of his friends moved away, leaving him increasingly isolated in the countryside. His solitary routine is disrupted when a boy named Na-Mu arrives from Seoul to visit his grandmother. Eager for companionship, Han-Eul hopes to form a genuine bond with the newcomer, but his optimism quickly fades. While Na-Mu is warm and friendly toward everyone else in the village, he remains inexplicably distant and cold toward Han-Eul alone. Determined to bridge the gap between them, Han-Eul continually tries to draw closer, yet his efforts seem to only widen the divide. The fragile dynamic between the two shifts dramatically one night when an intoxicated Na-Mu suddenly kisses him. This unexpected act shatters Han-Eul’s understanding of their relationship, plunging him into deep emotional confusion. No longer certain whether he simply craves a friend or desires something far more complicated, Han-Eul must navigate the tangled feelings that now bind him to the enigmatic boy from the city.
