Balance Policy

In a world grappling with an unexplained and catastrophic decline in birth rates, humanity faces the looming threat of extinction. The crisis disproportionately affects women, whose ability to conceive has diminished to alarming levels. In response to this unprecedented demographic emergency, society implements a radical and drastic solution: men are subjected to extensive biological modifications, altering their bodies so they possess the capacity to carry and give birth to children. This sweeping policy reshapes the very foundation of human reproduction and redefines the boundaries of identity. At the center of this transformed reality is Kenji, one of the men selected to undergo this profound physical transition. Stripped of his former life and thrust into an entirely new biological existence, he must navigate the overwhelming emotional and physical challenges of his altered body. As he grapples with the loss of his previous self and the heavy expectations placed upon him by a desperate society, Kenji's personal journey becomes a poignant exploration of sacrifice, resilience, and what it truly means to preserve the future of humanity.
