The First Hunter

On December 31, 2016, the eve of the New Year, an ordinary grocery run turns into a desperate fight for survival. While casually shopping at a large supermarket, Kim Taehoon witnesses the impossible as monsters suddenly materialize out of thin air. Relying on the highly trained combat skills honed during his previous occupation, he springs into action. With precision and lethal efficiency, he hunts down the creatures, managing to secure a hard-fought victory that saves countless innocent shoppers trapped inside the store. However, this initial triumph is only the beginning of a much larger nightmare. The monsters do not stop coming; their numbers continue to swell, and each new wave appears far more formidable than the last. What began as a localized crisis rapidly escalates into an endless onslaught, forcing Taehoon to push his abilities to their absolute limits just to stay alive. As the threats grow increasingly overwhelming, he must confront a chilling reality: surviving until the end will require more than just physical prowess. In a world descending into chaos, he will soon discover whether the monstrous horde is truly the greatest danger he faces, or if something far more sinister lurks in the shadows.
