Kanae Sakura Has His Secrets

Kanae Sakura leads a life far removed from the ordinary. He currently resides with Tsubaki, a folklore studies professor at his university, who has offered him free room and board under one highly unusual condition. In exchange for his lodging, Kanae is required to work as a helper at a bar that Tsubaki operates after hours. This establishment, however, does not cater to typical college students or local patrons; its clientele consists exclusively of supernatural spirits. Navigating this bizarre arrangement forces Kanae into daily contact with otherworldly beings, turning his routine into something extraordinary. Working in an environment where the impossible is treated as commonplace would be enough to overwhelm anyone, yet Kanae manages to hold his own among the spectral guests and the enigmatic professor who employs him. Despite the surreal nature of his living situation and his demanding job, the most intriguing element of Kanae’s story remains hidden beneath the surface. While he spends his time serving drinks to entities that defy logic, he is far from an open book. The narrative suggests that no matter how strange the circumstances surrounding him may be, everyone harbors their own mysteries—and Kanae Sakura is no exception, carrying secrets entirely his own.
