Bokura no Seishun wa Shindenai

Yokota and Mishima are university students pursuing degrees in art, navigating the everyday routines of campus life together. Their world is abruptly upended one evening when a casual group outing for drinks ends in disaster. Mishima is involved in a severe car accident and rushed to the hospital, where his physical body is left teetering on the very edge of death. However, Mishima does not fully pass away. Instead, his soul separates from his failing body and finds itself inexplicably confined within one of the university’s art studios. He remains tethered to the living world by an unseen attachment, preventing him from moving on entirely while leaving him trapped as a spirit in the place he once studied. In this fragile state between life and death, only Yokota possesses the unique ability to see and physically interact with Mishima’s ghostly form. Bearing the weight of this impossible reality, Yokota must take it upon himself to uncover what binds his friend to the mortal realm. To save Mishima, he must find a way to resolve the lingering ties keeping his soul anchored and finally guide him toward peace.
