Drenched Black Hair

Ever since moving into an apartment complex rumored to have been built directly over a graveyard, the protagonist's nights have become a living nightmare. Every evening, a distinctly inhuman presence creeps closer, stalking them from the shadows with malicious intent. The terrifying encounters escalate relentlessly until a mysterious woman finally arrives, harboring a single, chilling purpose: to kill. This manga is a curated anthology of transcendent supernatural experiences and true-to-life horror tales, masterfully illustrated by Mimika Itou, a mangaka celebrated for her work in the occult and horror genres. The collection features six distinct stories originally serialized in Hontou ni Atta Kowai Hanashi, each exploring different facets of fear and the paranormal. The volume includes the titular tale "Drenched Black Hair," alongside five other unsettling narratives: "Mischief," "Land of Black Smoke," "Test of Courage," "Holy Night's Testament," and "Freeloader." Together, these chapters form a comprehensive showcase of Itou's signature ability to transform everyday anxieties into deeply disturbing supernatural encounters.
