Sore wa, Kimi ga Mita Ao Datta

High school student Momo is left devastated after a sudden accident claims the life of Sayo, her closest friend since elementary school. Drowning in grief, she attends the funeral and unexpectedly reunites with Keichiro, Sayo’s younger brother, whom she has not seen in eight years. United by their shared loss, the two begin to revisit the familiar landmarks of their childhood—their old secret hideout tucked away in the neighborhood, the Ferris wheel bathed in twilight hues, and the local candy shop they once frequented together. As they retrace these nostalgic paths, Momo and Keichiro attempt to recover the joy of their youth while searching for the summer scenery they were meant to experience alongside Sayo. Together, they navigate the lingering echoes of happier days, piecing together memories that bind them to the girl they both lost. This poignant story weaves a heartrending tale of young people grappling with absence, painting a bittersweet portrait of a blue summer defined by love, memory, and mourning. The volume also includes one epilogue and five bonus chapters.
