Summary

Translated Details

For billions of years, a devastating war has raged across the cosmos against the Phantom Demon, an entity of unimaginable destruction. The overwhelming might of this dark lord has already consumed most of the universe, and his malevolent influence now extends its reach toward Earth. As the final curtain rises on Armageddon, Jyo Azuma, an ordinary high school student, finds himself thrust into the center of this ancient conflict when dormant supernatural powers suddenly awaken within him. Now burdened with abilities he barely understands, Jyo must confront the approaching apocalypse and stand against a cosmic threat that has shattered galaxies. This timeless bestseller masterfully depicts a harrowing supernatural war and the impending end of the world, blending profound existential stakes with intense action. Created in collaboration with Kazumasa Hirai, the acclaimed writer behind 8 Man, the series stands as a monumental achievement in science fiction storytelling. Its legacy was further cemented when Katsuhiro Otomo contributed to the animated feature film adaptation, helping to usher in a golden age for science fiction manga.
