Danbi Lee is a seven-year office veteran who has settled into the quiet, exhausting rhythm of simply getting by. Her carefully maintained routine shatters when her ex-boyfriend, Han Yeo-reum, unexpectedly appears as a new employee at her workplace. Rather than maintaining a professional distance, he approaches her with a disarming request: he wants her to treat him with the same warmth and kindness she once offered during their relationship. His sudden reappearance forces Danbi to confront feelings she believed were long buried. Han Yeo-reum’s return throws Danbi’s life into turmoil, constantly unsettling her fragile sense of normalcy. His motives remain unclear, leaving her to wonder why he chose to reenter her world in such an unavoidable way. The proximity of the office transforms their unresolved history into a daily challenge, blurring the boundaries between past romance and present professionalism. As they navigate this complicated new dynamic, the memory of their passionate summer together lingers like an unspoken question. Both are left to grapple with whether the intense connection they once shared can truly be rekindled, or if some seasons are meant to remain in the past.
