Two individuals who share absolutely nothing in common find their lives unexpectedly intertwined within the walls of the same residential building. Jo Gyeong-Pal is a twenty-five-year-old man working at a host bar, driven by an unwavering desperation for wealth. For him, financial gain supersedes all personal boundaries and moral reservations, pushing him to undertake whatever tasks are necessary to secure his next paycheck. Sharing his living space is Shim Eun-Ae, a forty-two-year-old woman who has just reentered society after serving a grueling fifteen-year prison sentence. Having spent over a decade confined behind bars, she now faces the daunting reality of rebuilding her existence from scratch in a world that has long since moved forward without her. Despite the vast differences in their ages, backgrounds, and daily struggles, these two unlikely neighbors are brought together by circumstance. One is consumed by the relentless pursuit of money, while the other attempts to navigate the fragile early days of freedom. Their contrasting lives unfold side by side under one roof, setting the stage for a compelling story of survival, adaptation, and unexpected human connection.
