Beyond the Sea

In the quiet, isolated town of Riverwort, Jade and Oje have spent their lives bound together as family. Having grown up relying entirely on one another for support and companionship, their connection runs deeper than ordinary friendship. However, this fragile stability is shattered when Jade is suddenly overtaken by a violent, uncontrollable rut. Stripped of his reason, he loses himself to primal instinct and ends up harming the very person he cherishes most in the world. Overwhelmed by shame and an unbearable sense of guilt over what he has done, Jade makes the agonizing decision to vanish from Riverwort without a word. He leaves Oje behind, stranded with lingering emotions and questions that may never be answered. For a time, the silence between them feels like a permanent severance, but fate delivers a far crueler blow. When devastating news arrives that the ship carrying Jade has sunk beneath the waves, the hidden depths of their bond are violently dragged to the surface. What remains is not just grief, but the tragic realization of everything left unspoken, forcing both the truth of their love and the weight of their loss into the open in the most heartbreaking way imaginable.
