An unexpected earthquake abruptly transports Shin Jin-Ho and his coworkers into an unfamiliar realm, but the true shock arrives when Jin-Ho recognizes every detail of their surroundings. This strange new world is not merely a fantasy; it is an exact replica of a webtoon created by his older brother. For years, his brother struggled as an obscure artist, growing increasingly disillusioned after a string of failed projects until he ultimately vanished without a trace. Now, the fictional universe he left behind has become a terrifying reality. Among everyone pulled into this dimension, Jin-Ho holds a singular advantage: an intimate, comprehensive understanding of the webtoon’s lore, rules, and narrative arc. Armed with this unique knowledge, he becomes the only person capable of guiding his bewildered colleagues through the dangers of this constructed world. Together, they embark on a perilous journey driven by two urgent objectives. They must find a way to break free from the story and return to their original lives, while simultaneously uncovering the fate of Jin-Ho’s missing brother, whose disappearance may hold the key to their survival.
