Barebare da yo

Kumagai leads a relatively ordinary life, but her daily routine is frequently interrupted by the unannounced visits of Takegawa, a boy she has known since childhood. Despite their long history together, these regular encounters bring her little comfort. Kumagai is acutely aware of the true motivation behind his constant presence in her life, and it has nothing to do with wanting to spend time with her. Takegawa’s persistent visits are driven entirely by his feelings for someone else: Kumagai’s close friend, Misaki. Rather than seeing Kumagai as anything more than a convenient link to the girl he actually desires, he uses their childhood connection solely as an opportunity to get closer to his real target. This painful realization places Kumagai in a difficult emotional position. She must navigate the complicated dynamic of being repeatedly used as a bridge between her longtime companion and her own friend. Caught between a childhood bond that feels increasingly one-sided and her loyalty to Misaki, Kumagai is left to quietly endure the frustration of knowing that every visit from Takegawa is ultimately meant for someone else.
