In the year After Colony 196, the world has finally achieved peace after the devastating war between Earth and its colonies. However, the harmony is short-lived, as Heero, Duo, Trowa, and Quatre are forced to return to battle when Relena Darlian, now the deputy minister of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation, is kidnapped by Marimeia Khushrenada, the daughter of the late dictator Treize Khushrenada and the heir to the Barton Foundation. Marimeia's forces, backed by the cunning Gundam pilot Wufei, seek to dominate the world, and the original Gundam pilots must once again reunite to stop them.
