In a future scarred by catastrophe, a meteor collides with Earth, unleashing a lethal foreign organism. Designated M34, this virulent agent infects humans, warping them into savage, monstrous beings. With much of civilization annihilated, surviving governments establish specialized agencies to combat the plague. Among them is NOA, an organization that equips its soldiers with embedded nanomachines, granting them the ability to transform and engage infected targets directly. However, as the virus rapidly mutates, it outpaces NOA's capabilities, pushing humanity to the brink. Against this desperate backdrop, the world's last hope falls to a solitary sixteen-year-old girl, who possesses the unique power that may finally stop the virus for good.
