Hand Maid Mai

Hideo Ozu works as an editor for a questionable adult video company, holding onto a long-standing dream of becoming a motion picture director. Meanwhile, his childhood friend, Mai Kurosawa, is rising in fame as an actress. Hideo's aspirations are suddenly crushed when Mai cuts ties with him, taking all the amateur videos he had filmed of her. Later that evening, after having a few drinks, Hideo encounters Cyberdoll Sara on his way home and is prompted to sign an invoice. Upon returning to his apartment, he discovers three Cyberdolls waiting for him: Mai, Ai, and Mie. Surprisingly, all three androids resemble Mai Kurosawa at different stages of her life. When Kurosawa publicly announces the release of a biographical video featuring Hideo's old footage, he resolves to revive his directing ambitions by utilizing his three Cyberdolls.
