Oraku seems to lead a charmed life. He holds a comfortable position as a teacher at a local high school, enjoys a promising relationship with fellow instructor Satsuki—whom he hopes to one day marry—and has captured the heart of Aya, a beautiful student who is deeply infatuated with him. To further sweeten the arrangement, Aya’s wealthy father has gone so far as to send his daughter to live with Oraku, believing it will secure her happiness. Yet fortune comes with a sharp edge. Aya’s favorite pastime is lounging around his apartment in a state of partial undress, making her advances impossible to ignore. The complication? Her father’s wealth stems from his position as a major crime boss, and he has made it chillingly clear that Oraku will face a slow and brutal end should Aya’s purity ever be compromised.
