Years after the original Chosen Children's adventures in the Digital World, a new generation of Chosen Children is summoned to face a rising threat. An oppressive ruler known as the Digimon Kaiser (or Digimon Emperor) has seized control, subjecting the Digital World's Digimon to forced enslavement. Together with their own Digimon partners, this fresh team of heroes sets out on a journey to put an end to the Digimon Emperor's cruel reign.
