A.D. Police Files

The year is 2027 in MegaTokyo, six years prior to the debut of the Knight Sabers. Boomers—artificial humanoid beings—remain a relatively recent technological breakthrough, and their integration into society is still fraught with dangerous glitches, often with fatal consequences. When boomer-related incidents arise, the Advanced Police, a specially trained unit, are dispatched to handle these threats. Rookie officer Leon McNichol is just beginning his tenure with the AD Police, gradually confronting the daily horrors and tragedies that pervade MegaTokyo. Alongside his seasoned partner, Gina Marceau, he slowly comes to understand the increasingly blurred boundary separating man from machine.
