Go Lion

Golion, a sentient robot of immense power, once abused his abilities by hunting and slaying the Deathblack Beastmen, arrogantly proclaiming himself invincible. As punishment for this hubris, a divine cosmic entity shattered Golion into five separate lion robots. In 1999, five young men return to Earth from a space voyage only to discover their home planet devastated by nuclear war. After an encounter with the alien Galra empire, the youths find themselves on the planet Altea. There, they learn that the five lion components of Golion lie dormant in various locations across the world. To save humanity, they must locate and reunite these lions to reform Golion, the last hope for the human race.
