To counter potential extraterrestrial threats, Dr. Jurgen of DC created a global defense system comprising two key components: the VTX-001 Vartoul, an unmanned anti-alien Personal Trooper, and the ODE worldwide network that governs these drones. However, this system conceals a disturbing secret, as the ODE core requires a living human controller and depends on human organs to sustain itself. In the present day, the autonomous drones have initiated a campaign of mass abductions, prompting Kyosuke and his team to be deployed to neutralize the crisis.
