Cyborg 009

Cyborg 009 follows the story of Joe Shimamura, a half-Japanese juvenile delinquent who becomes known as Cyborg 009. Along with eight other social outcasts from around the world, Joe is abducted by Black Ghost, a clandestine organization devoted to fomenting global warfare. The group is forcibly converted into cyborgs, intended to serve as unstoppable living weapons. However, with the aid of an elderly scientist, Joe and his fellow cyborgs rebel against their captors and manage to escape. In retaliation, Black Ghost deploys an array of cyborg assassins and colossal robots to hunt them down. Relying on their newfound superhuman abilities, the fugitives continually evade their pursuers and thwart Black Ghost's sinister operations—but whether they can ultimately foil the organization's global conspiracy remains to be seen.
