Jungle Taitei

Deep within an equatorial African jungle lives Panja, a revered white lion known to all as the "Emperor of the Jungle." Tragedy strikes when he is killed by a hunter, who also captures his mate, the Jungle Queen. While aboard a transport ship bound for an overseas zoo, she gives birth to Panja's cub. Naming the newborn Leo, she urges him to escape, instructing him to return to Africa and claim his rightful place as his father's successor. Shortly after Leo flees into the sea, a violent storm capsizes the vessel, sending it to the depths along with the Queen. Instead of reaching Africa, the young cub washes ashore in a port city on the Arabian Peninsula, marking the unexpected beginning of his epic journey.
