On the grand stage of the Conan universe, if you don't have a cheat, don't bother showing up. Kurozawa Seiya happens to have one—and he's not shy about using it. Conan is baffled. He's barely started gathering clues when Seiya has already cracked the case. "That's not deduction—that's a hack. How is this not getting banned?" Hattori Heiji agrees: "Nobody reasons like that. It's cheating, plain and simple." Even the Black Organization takes notice. After a hit, Vodka asks Gin whether they should eliminate Kurozawa Seiya on the spot to prevent him from deducing their involvement. Gin's cold reply: "We'll be long gone after the job. He can't prove we did it because he won't even find us." But Seiya just shrugs it off. "Sorry—I only watched the anime. It's not like I'm using cheats."
