Chae Do-young has admired Seo Ki-hyeon on TV since childhood, but when they reunite in high school, she discovers a calculated side to his gentle smile. Ki-hyeon's true love is his childhood friend Kim Ga-on, and he manipulates Do-young into a pawn to win Ga-on's affections, repeatedly hurting her in the process.
