BONES' original TV animation "Darker than BLACK - Black Contractor" made its grand debut in the early spring of 2007. The plot of the animation revolves around superpowers and espionage activities, and the stage of the story is set in the noisy and bustling city-Tokyo. One day, a strange phenomenon suddenly appeared in Tokyo - the "Hell Gate", an unanalyzable field. There, there are visitors who have never been seen before and possess super powers. People call these people "contractors". Some of them lose their minds, and sometimes they even kill humans cruelly. What do the "contractors" want when they come to Tokyo...?
