Naoto Saki is a typical young boy who leads a mundane life, getting average grades in school and never standing out from the crowd. His favorite pastime is sleep, but his tendency to doze off in class often earns him disapproval from his teachers. Unbeknownst to Naoto, his frequent naps are accompanied by vivid dreams of a fantastical world. However, when he is suddenly summoned to this dream world, he finds himself caught in a battle between the powerful Elphis and the human-like beings known as the Sand Dusts. Naoto becomes entangled in the conflict and is forced to confront the harsh realities of this new world, where he can feel pain and possibly even die. With his initial desire to return home, Naoto soon discovers that the pretty sorceress who summoned him has other plans for his involvement in the world of Orgos.
