Honda Shigeharu, a rising Major League batter, shares a dream with his son Gorou, a talented Little League pitcher who aspires to follow in his footsteps. Meanwhile, Hoshino Momoko, Gorou's teacher and a woman who has piqued Shigeharu's interest since his wife's passing, becomes entwined in their lives.
