In a universe where life is scarce, the Tao tournament is a high-stakes battle for survival. Suguri Toma, a skilled but unremarkable martial artist, finds himself transported to the planet of Tao, where he is unexpectedly recruited by Karma, the team leader of Earth's gladiators.
