Within the walls of a women's prison operates a truly unexpected establishment: a beauty salon open to the general public. Ordinary customers are welcome to book an appointment and entrust their hair to an inmate, who cuts and styles with attentive care despite her circumstances. Every visitor, however, carries a quiet unease into the chair. What crime did this hairdresser commit to end up behind bars? The unanswerable question lingers in the mind throughout each visit, an undercurrent of anxiety that never fully fades. Fortunately, the salon offers its own strange comfort: a brilliant blue sky painted across the walls, whose serene expanse never fails to calm restless nerves. In truth, time spent with the hairdresser proves surprisingly pleasant. Her company is warm, her skill undeniable, and every appointment passes enjoyably. Yet as the conversation flows and the scissors snip away, one mystery refuses to be silenced—why did she become a criminal in the first place?
