Kimi ni Ienai Koto ga Aru

Kasumi and Kyousuke could hardly be more different. Kasumi is quiet, gentle, and painfully shy, while Kyousuke overflows with energy and has never had any trouble earning the admiration of those around him. Yet if opposites truly do attract, the bond between them is living proof — the two have been the best of friends ever since their elementary school days. For Kasumi, Kyousuke has always been something of a hero: a constant presence to look up to, and the one who steps in whenever bullies close in on him. With Kyousuke standing at his side, even the most difficult school days felt easier to bear. But childhood never lasts forever, and neither do the simple roles of youth. With their school years now behind them, the two must face the wider world — and one another — as adults. In this unfamiliar new stage of life, Kasumi and Kyousuke find that their long friendship can no longer be so easily defined, and that even between the closest of companions, there are words that refuse to be spoken aloud.
