Over the Paradise

Ten years ago, Captain U-Jun Kang—an Esper of the highest S-tier rank—witnessed a man known only as "Doc" sacrifice his own life to save his. There was no doubt about what he saw, yet U-Jun never even learned Doc's real name, and the loss has lingered ever since as a debt he could never repay and a face he could never forget. Now, the past returns in an impossible form. U-Jun's newly assigned S-Tier Guide, Hui-Won Chae, is the exact image of the man he believed long gone. But when they come face to face, Hui-Won draws a complete blank—no flicker of recognition, no sign that their paths have ever crossed. As far as Hui-Won is concerned, he simply lost two months of his life to an accident, nothing more. Caught between memory and mystery, U-Jun must grapple with a truth no one seems able to confirm. Is this stranger truly the man who died for him, and what really happened during those missing months? Unless the two can connect the dots, a miraculous second chance may slip away forever.
