Kimi to no Dogfight

For college student Haruno, the carefully curated anonymity of online gaming has always been a comfortable escape—until the day he agrees to meet his long-time virtual companion in person. With his heart set on the prospect of a cute, charming girl, he arrives at their meeting spot buzzing with nervous anticipation. Reality, however, delivers an unexpected twist. Waiting for him is not the delicate maiden of his imagination, but a striking young man whose polished good looks and effortless charisma are impossible to ignore. Worse still, this handsome stranger is no random passerby; he is a campus-wide heartthrob who attends the very same university as Haruno, a fact that turns Haruno's shock into sheer bewilderment. As the initial awkwardness settles, Haruno finds himself grappling with a surreal collision of his digital and everyday worlds. The person who once existed only as a voice and a username is now an unmistakable presence in his daily life—a popular "ikemen" whose path he can no longer avoid. Yet beneath the mortification and confusion, a quiet question begins to take root: could this jarring, fateful encounter be more than just a mishap? What began as a simple offline meeting now unfolds into an unpredictable juncture, where the boundaries between game and reality blur, and two vastly different lives intertwine in ways neither of them could have foreseen.
