My Bias Gets on the Last Train

Every night, Yeo-Un boards the final train of the evening, a solitary commuter lost in the hum of empty carriages and the dim glow of city lights flickering past the windows. His life is a study in quiet repetition—until he notices her. A girl cradling a worn guitar case, her presence as resonant as a half-heard melody, she becomes the one unexpected variable in his otherwise predictable world. Their orbits finally collide over a shared admiration for the indie band Long Afternoon, and what begins as a fleeting exchange between strangers deepens into a ritual of late-night conversations and unspoken connection, transforming the mundane journey home into something he eagerly anticipates. But Hae-In carries more than just a guitar; she carries the very soul of the band they both love, hidden behind a silence she cannot break. As the lead vocalist, her identity is a carefully guarded secret, one that could unravel everything if exposed. With every shared earphone and whispered lyric, the bond between them tightens, yet the truth looms like an off-key note waiting to disrupt their harmony. When the music fades and reality intrudes, Yeo-Un must confront whether he fell for the fan or the artist—and Hae-In must decide if revealing herself will compose a future with him or pen the final, heartbreaking coda to their story.
