Resurrection: Kindai Igaku no Kaijin John Hunter

London, eighteenth century—a sprawling city where science and superstition brush shoulders in every shadowed corner. Robert is a boy marked by a rare trait: heterochromia, a pair of eyes that each shine a different color. His life takes a startling turn when he crosses paths with a peculiar man, one whose fascination with the dead borders on madness. This stranger carves into corpses with unsettling devotion, driven by a single ambition—to draw out a complete map of the human body through dissection. Yet the man's interest in Robert is no fleeting curiosity. What he truly desires lies within the boy himself—those remarkable, mismatched eyes. Why would a student of anatomy covet a child's gaze so intensely, and what fate awaits Robert at the hands of this macabre obsessive? The stranger is none other than John Hunter, the legendary anatomist said to have laid the very foundations of modern medicine. Thus begins the gripping tale of a brilliant, unorthodox genius relentless in his quest to expose the secrets of the human form—and the boy whose eyes may hold the key to it all.
