God is Probably Left-Handed

Driven by a desperate need to clear his father’s crushing debts, Yano has thrown himself into the dangerous underworld of counterfeiting, producing fake bills for the yakuza. Though his technical skills are formidable, he remains haunted by an elusive flaw—his "artificial" currency can never quite pass as genuine, leaving him perpetually on the edge of failure. Bound to a ruthless syndicate that tolerates no mistakes, Yano’s existence is a high-wire act, each new order a reminder that his life hangs on the quality of his craft. Everything changes when the yakuza force Makura onto him—a quiet, enigmatic man with an almost supernatural gift for replication and an uncanny mastery of fine art. With the syndicate granting Yano unrestricted freedom to use Makura however he sees fit, the counterfeiter suddenly holds the key to solving his greatest obstacle. But as he grapples with how to wield this living "copy machine," Yano must navigate not only the technical puzzle of perfection, but also the uneasy partnership forming between them. In a world built on lies and forgery, the most dangerous question may not be whether their money can fool the banks—but whether Yano can trust the man who holds the secret to his salvation.
