Uzumaki Tokubetsu-hen: Ginga

One quiet night, Shuuichi Saitou shares an astonishing secret with his girlfriend, Kirie Goshima: he has discovered a new spiral-shaped galaxy glowing in the heavens. Overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of the find, Kirie cannot contain her excitement and rushes to tell her teacher, who in turn calls upon a trusted astronomer friend to verify the extraordinary claim. Mr. Torino arrives expecting nothing more than an amateur's fantasy, only to be shaken to his core when he confirms that the galaxy truly exists. He understands immediately that such a discovery will shower Shuuichi with boundless, enduring acclaim. Consumed by envy—and steadily corrupted by the very spiral he studies—Torino descends into obsession, resorting to increasingly desperate and ruthless measures to steal credit for Shuuichi's achievement and claim the glory as his own. Yet the mysterious galaxy is not the only unsettling new phenomenon stirring within the shadows of Kurouzu-cho, and stranger discoveries still await the town's unwitting residents.
