Summary

Official Details

Khang Zhipa is a thirteen-year-old apprentice physician living in a remote mountain village in eighteenth-century Tibet. One day, he returns from gathering medicinal herbs to find that a bride-to-be and her wedding procession will be lodging at his home for the night. The bride, Moshi Rati, is revealed to be Khang Zhipa’s fiancée, who has traveled from a faraway land to remain with him. This is the tender, slice-of-life story of a kindhearted boy and his mysterious bride.
