My Sister, The Cat

After losing his mother at a young age, Nekota finds himself taken in by family friends who are far from ordinary—a couple of human-sized cats who walk and talk just like people. His new parents may have paws, swishing tails, and furry pointed ears, but they welcome him into a home filled with warmth. Better still, he gains a sweet little sister named Neneko, who is overjoyed to finally have a big brother all her own. Now a high school student, Nekota has settled seamlessly into life with his unusual family, and his spirited adoptive sister embraces him as her beloved older brother without reservation. Each day brings its own small delights: Neneko excitedly showing off the things she brings home from elementary school, earnestly pleading with him to play with her favorite mouse toy, and dutifully rousing him at the same early hour every morning so the two can share breakfast together. Filled with gentle humor and heartwarming family moments, this charming tale follows Nekota's everyday life alongside his lovable feline family—proof that in this household, no two days are ever the same.
