Ai mo Kawarazu

Takeru and Seiichirou were inseparable as children, but like many childhood bonds, theirs gradually faded as the years passed. Now, after a long stretch of distance, the two have unexpectedly found their way back into each other's lives and have begun meeting up once again. For Takeru, these reunions are a source of genuine happiness. Spending time with Seiichirou feels remarkably like the old days—easy, familiar, and comforting. Yet there is one detail that unsettles him: somewhere along the way, Seiichirou earned a notorious reputation as an enormous playboy. Takeru finds himself struggling to reconcile the carefree friend from his memories with the man everyone knows for his endless string of flings. Just as he begins to sort through his mixed feelings, Seiichirou upends everything. One drunken evening, he kisses Takeru outright and confesses his feelings, leaving Takeru more bewildered than ever. Caught between nostalgia, confusion, and a confession he never saw coming, Takeru must now decide what to make of a lifelong friendship that may be turning into something far more complicated.
