Kotonoha no Miko to Kotodama no Majo to

Created by Fujieda Miyabi, The Caged Miko and the Whimsical Witch is a captivating romance that explores the unexpected bond between two vastly different women. At the heart of the story is Tsumugi, a young woman whose life is defined by profound restriction. Rather than living freely, she finds herself magically tethered to her family's ancient shrine, unable to escape the spiritual chains that bind her to its sacred grounds. Her existence is one of quiet isolation, bound by duty and an unbreakable enchantment that keeps her confined within the shrine's boundaries. The trajectory of Tsumugi’s sheltered life shifts dramatically when she crosses paths with Letty, a whimsical and unpredictable witch. During their fateful first encounter, Letty steps into the role of an unlikely savior, sweeping in like a knight in shining armor to protect the captive shrine maiden. This chance meeting sparks a compelling dynamic between the free-spirited magic user and the restrained miko. As Letty intervenes on Tsumugi's behalf, their contrasting worlds collide, laying the foundation for a tender romance that challenges the mystical constraints holding Tsumugi back from the wider world.
