Wait For Me Yesterday in Spring

Two years ago, high school student Kanae departed his quiet island home of Sodeshima to chase academic ambitions in Tokyo. When the city fails to live up to his hopes, he abandons his studies and returns to the island seeking solace with his childhood friend, Akari. Yet before they can rekindle their bond, an inexplicable shift occurs at six o’clock, hurling Kanae four days into the future. In this sudden tomorrow, he discovers a devastating truth: Akito, Akari’s older brother and Kanae’s lifelong idol, has died. However, death may not be permanent. As Kanae struggles to comprehend the missing four days from his memory, Akari reveals that he is about to experience them in reverse through a mysterious phenomenon called “Rollback.” Strangely, she learned of this process from Kanae himself—a version of him from a past he has yet to live. Armed with this impossible foresight, Kanae resolves to exploit the Rollback to rewrite fate, determined to save Akito’s life and protect Akari’s heart.
