Sousei no Taiga

Sousei no Taiga follows the journey of a young academic who has dedicated his studies to the field of anthropology. Driven by a deep passion for ancient human history, he enrolls in a specialized seminary where he hones his expertise in early civilizations and their cultural artifacts. His academic pursuits eventually lead him far from home, as he embarks on an expedition to Australia to study and observe the region’s renowned prehistoric rock paintings. Accompanied by a group of fellow researchers and colleagues, the young scholar ventures into a remote cave system believed to hold significant archaeological value. The team is united by their shared goal of documenting the ancient artwork hidden within the earth. However, what begins as a routine scholarly observation takes a sudden and terrifying turn when the structural integrity of the cavern fails without warning. In an instant, the cave collapses around them, plunging the entire group into chaos and darkness. Trapped beneath tons of rock and completely cut off from the outside world, the scholars are forced to confront a desperate fight for survival. Their carefully planned academic expedition abruptly transforms into a harrowing ordeal, testing their resilience and unity as they struggle to escape the buried depths.
