Every time Tomo finds a new girlfriend, his selfish childhood friend Hideaki inevitably interferes and ruins the relationship. When Tomo starts dating someone new, he braces himself for the usual sabotage, but to his surprise, nothing happens. Puzzled by this sudden lack of meddling, Tomo soon uncovers the reason behind Hideaki's uncharacteristic silence: his longtime friend has fallen for someone else—a man. Though Hideaki may have only been showing off, Tomo finds himself unable to shake the memory of how unexpectedly gentle his friend looked while fretting over his own romantic feelings. What begins as simple curiosity quickly evolves into something far more complicated. Tomo, a straightforward guy who is easily swayed by genuine warmth and affection, finds himself drawn to Hideaki in an entirely new light. Meanwhile, Hideaki remains his typical egotistical, striking self, driven by an intense desire to keep those he cares about all to himself. Caught between their shifting emotions and long-standing history, the two realize they can never return to the days when they thought they understood each other completely. As old boundaries blur, an unexpected romance begins to blossom between them, transforming their familiar friendship into something neither ever anticipated.
