Inuyashiki

At fifty-eight years old, Ichiro Inuyashiki appears far older than his actual age. His prematurely aged appearance causes the world to dismiss him as a frail, pitiful figure, while his own family offers nothing but indifference and disrespect despite his lifelong dedication to providing for them. His bleak existence takes an even darker turn when a medical examination reveals that he is suffering from terminal cancer, leaving him with very little time to live. Just as his circumstances seem utterly hopeless, a sudden and blinding light descends from the night sky, striking the exact spot where Ichiro stands. When he regains consciousness, he discovers that he has survived the inexplicable event completely unharmed. However, it quickly becomes apparent that the mysterious phenomenon has fundamentally altered him, leaving him with something profoundly different about his very nature.
